So here i am at my new project, it will be a pirate in the end. For this project i'll try to put as many things as i can and hopefully present it on cgsociety. As for things that i'm aiming for: creating a high res char, I aim for 40-50k tris in the end, for animation and going with alot more facial morfs and maybe alot more animation cycles and poses.

Normal maps done in z-brush, not edited yet... loaded them into bodypaint to get ready for diff maps, render done in bodypaint ..starting to love this application btw. I have 2 maps for it one 2048x2048 one 2048x1024 without the head, after textures i'll do the minor geometry correction to solve the interpenetration problems and reduce polycount.

So here i start my new project/study, i am after a couple of things as enhancing my knowledge into z-brush, human anatomy, bodypaint, hair system as well as animation for face and body. I plan to make it a little more detailed than the dragon also give a little more time to texture phase. So i hope i can finish it till the end of august.

Dragon Walk

here is my little dragon taking a walk. Unfortunately i've made something wrong and couldn't use any blend shapes ..the head kept jumping every time i've applied one so after two days of playing with them i had to declare the battle lost ( the next time.... ). All said and done was a very good practice, learned alot and had alot of fun, poor thing had some really embarassing moments during the animation. As a total different matter i've managed to finish the The Brothers Karamazov by Dostoevsky, was a really good lecture so if u haven't read it yet i encourage u to. PS: hope u will be able to see the dynamic curves animation of the facial details.

So here are almost all the weights, thw wings really hate me..they just wont get on withthe program..but heh i'll nail them eventually. From tommorow i'll start with the muscles and i'll leave the corrective blend shapes at the end..( very proud of my spline FK neck :P)
